近代生活の発展により、我々は、次世代の平和と寛容への愛、文明の到達、そして、未来の環境への責任への認識を更に強くする必要が出てきました。特別非営利活動法人のジャパン・リターン・プログラムは、様々な国の若い日本語学習者を温かく迎えると同時に、彼らに社会的、文化的そして教育的に非常に重要な問題について議論するというかけがえのない機会を与え続けてきました。 さらに、JRPは、学生達が、将来のコミュニティーの構成員として、さらにリーダとしての責任感を高める刺激的な環境を作ってきました。 私は、二人のブルガリア人のパネリストが、ディスカッションに活発に貢献し、勉強、ホームステイ、観光を含めたプログラムを存分に楽しんでくれることを望んでいます。 本年度サミットのテーマ「若者と平和」は、若い世代が、将来平和で、繁栄した社会を築くための希望と、責任を明らかにするものです。 地球の未来に対する関心は、「自然の英知」をテーマに繰り広げられる来年度サミットのディスカッションにおいてさらに深められるでしょう。 非常に本質的であり、また複雑であるこのテーマは、非常な責任の伴う答えをようするたくさんの疑問を提示するはずです。 京都条約が締結された国であり、2005年愛知万博の主催地である日本は、環境保全のために寛容な公的支援を続けている国家としても、来年度サミットの開催地として最良の地であると考えます。 最後になりましたが、特定非営利活動法人の先導者、主催者、そして支援者の皆様に毎年、ブルガリア人学生に豊かな日本文化を経験しまた沢山の新しい友人を作ることができるプログラムに参加する機会を与えて下さっていることに対して心より感謝を申し上げたいと思います。JRPの繁栄されますこと、また、今後末永く創造的で刺激的な活動を続けられますことをお祈りいたします。

Our contemporary life’s dynamics sharpen the awareness about the need to nurture in the coming generations love for peace and tolerance, respect for the achievements of the human civilization and responsibility for the future of our environment. The Japan Return Programme has been providing the indispensable opportunity for young Japanese speaking people from different countries to discuss such important social, cultural and educational issues while enjoying the warm Japanese hospitality. Moreover, it has created an inspiring environment for the students to enrich their understanding and to define their responsibility as future members and leaders of the human community. I hope the two Bulgarian participants this year will contribute actively to the discussions and will enjoy completely the study, home stay and sightseeing programmes. The theme for this year’s summit “Youth and Peace” elucidates the hope and trust our societies share in the young generations in building a peaceful and prosperous future for our shared home. The concern about the future of our planet will be further developed in the discussions next year focusing on “Nature’s Wisdom”, a theme both fundamental and complex that poses numerous questions requiring responsible answers. As an initiator of the Kyoto Protocol and host of the upcoming Aichi Expo 2005, as a generous donor for official assistance regarding environment protection projects Japan is the perfect place for the next Summit to take place. In conclusion allow me to express my warmest gratitude to the initiators, organizers and supporters of the Japan Return Programme for providing every year Bulgarian students with the opportunity to participate in the activities of the Programme, to experience first-hand the rich Japanese culture and to make many new friends. I wish you success and creative inspiration for many years to come. |
